If there’s one scent note people are constantly popping into the booth asking for by name, it’s patchouli. Patchouli people know what they like, and they are a very devoted bunch.
So naturally, we made them OCCULT Classic.
A little wink to patchouli’s almost cult-like following, this earthy blend takes the classic note and gives it an autumn twist. Deep patchouli is layered with cedar, oak bark and rosewood, then softened with vanilla musk and tonka. Red berries, warm spice and a hint of pumpkin add just enough seasonal warmth without turning it into a sugary pumpkin candle.
Moody, woodsy and smooth, with plenty of patchouli at the center. It feels right at home in fall, but the earthy woods-and-vanilla backbone makes it easy to keep around long after the pumpkins disappear.

Hand-poured in small batches in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Each one is handcrafted in reusable Libbey glassware (made in the USA!) using our custom coconut–soy–beeswax blend. Our custom wax blend is crafted from premium ingredients sourced in the USA. It's paraffin-free, phthalate-free, and designed for a beautiful burn and exceptional fragrance. Finished with our signature wood wicks, many set in an X-pattern, they give off a soft crackle and even melt pool for an experience that feels as luxe as it smells.

Why We Created Our Own Wax Blend
Most candle makers choose a wax.
We built our own.
After months of testing, we developed a custom coconut-soy-beeswax blend because we weren't looking for the cheapest formula or the trendiest ingredient. We wanted a candle that people could simply enjoy.
Our custom blend was designed to:
• resist tunneling
• provide excellent fragrance throughout the room
• burn slowly for up to 70 hours
• create a smooth, beautiful finish
• require less fuss than many traditional soy candles
Instead of worrying about perfect burn cycles every time you light it, you can simply enjoy your candle.
Every fragrance is tested in a 15 × 30 foot room because a candle shouldn't just smell wonderful when you lift the lid. It should fill your home. If we can't smell it from the doorway, it goes back to the drawing board.
(For best performance, we still recommend trimming the wick and following the included care instructions.)
Designed to Live On
Our candles are poured into genuine Libbey glassware made in the USA.
When the candle is finished, simply clean the jar and place it in the dishwasher.
When the candle is gone, you'll have a genuine Libbey drinking glass ready for its next chapter.
Candle Care
Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn.
Allow melt pool to reach edges for an even burn.
Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
Keep away from drafts, pets, and children.
Stop use when ½ inch of wax remains.
Glass gets hot — handle with care.
